Potty Covers Review

OK Moms, we have all been there, or a situation similar.  Your potty training little one needs to take an unscheduled potty break and you are in between stops.  What do you do?  You find the closest public bathroom and hope she holds on till you get there.   Have you been in one of those bathrooms that you walk in and say "oh man this is just gross".  You don't want you child to touch NOTHING, including the toilet.  For the most part Public bathrooms are disgusting, even when they look clean, they just aren't as clean as home.

I was so relieved to find a nice solution that was convenient.  Potty Covers make a cover that does not just cover the top of the toilet, but the front and sides.  I know I usually have to tell my preschooler, don't touch as I try and hold her up.  With the Potty Cover you just lay the "waterproof" barrier covers down and your little one can sit without touching anything.  The large front cover keeps legs and clothes from touching the toilet.   Cover overlaps on the side so your child can hold on for balance without touching as well.

One pack comes with 6 disposable, individually wrapped, covers.  These are perfect to have on the go in your bag or purse, without the covers getting messed up.  Perfect for those unscheduled emergency stops.

These are NOT flush able.  Covers must be thrown into the trash when done using.  That makes these not ECO friendly, but when it comes to sitting on a germ infested toilet, I liked carrying these to help protect my little ones.

Description:PottyCover is a disposable toilet seat cover for children that covers the sides and the front of the toilet, to keep away germs at public rest-rooms.  It is made of non-woven fabric coated with a layer of plastic, creating a waterproof barrier between the toilet and the child. This product has the largest coverage of all seat covers on the market and for added convenience, each seat cover is individually packaged in a small, easy to open bag that makes it super easy to always keep one or two in a purse or a back pocket.
Using a public rest-room with a young child could be very stressful, but with PottyCovers the whole family can feel safe knowing that even at the filthiest bathrooms they will be protected from germs. We designed this product for kids, but it has become a must-have travel item for many of our adult customers.
A pack of PottyCover sells for $5.99 and it is available on Amazon, Ebay, all Buy Buy Baby stores around the country and at select Bed Bath & Beyond stores.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  2. This is definitely something I'm going to have to check out because my son always feels like he has to hold on to the potty. I try to help him in public places, but he still feels the need to touch the seat and his little fingers curl under it - yuck! It makes me go insane because I'm so worried that he's going to touch his mouth or face that I'm constantly telling him, "Okay, you touched that, so DO NOT touch your face...DO NOT!" Then I literally pick him up and carry him to the sink while holding his arms so that he doesn't wipe his eyes or put his fingers in his mouth. Having something like this on hand would be a definite game changer!

    1. I can totally relate to that feeling you get when they put their tiny little hands on the seat. This is a great option for avoiding those situations!
