Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead Movie and Giveaway

(Sponsored Post- I received a free product for an honest Announcement, but was already a huge fan and supporter.)

I have been a huge fan of the Movie "Sick, Fat, and Nearly Dead" with Joe Cross.  It is an inspiring movie about a Aussie named Joe Cross who decided he was sick of being sick.  In this movie he shows how he went for a "walk about" in the US juicing and talking to people along the way. He talked to people about what they ate and did not eat.  He visits with his doctor and checks in on his improvements and by the end of the movie he is Thinner, Healthier, and very much Alive.

"Audience nears six million people worldwide as Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead celebrates second anniversary of its release. To date, Documentary’s audience has lost more than 6 million pounds and consumed more than 93 million glasses of fresh juice."

While on Joe's Walk about he meets a young man with the same problems as Joe.  The movie changes pace a little to follows a couple people and their Juicing Journey, focusing on people who have trashed their bodies by pharmaceutical meds, food choices, and lifestyle.  The juicing journey last for 2 months of only fruits and vegetables.  This is a detox of the average American Diet and Lifestyle.  I have personally done 30 days of Juicing and loved the experience.  When watching you see how they done feel so well the initial first couple of days, but they start to transform right after.  Understand, this is not about losing weight.  While that is a wonderful perk to getting healthy, the goal is to get of meds, feel better, and improve the quality of life.

I have had friends and readers say "I could never live by juice alone", and similar comments.  While I agree it is hard to imagine, it is a wonderful experience that after the first few days you crave the juices you make.  While juicing I found I craved the burst of energy, clear consciousness, and happier emotions.

In the book "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead: How fruits and Vegetables Changed My Life", Joe explains in more detail about the benefits discussed with him, with his doctor, and his experience.  In the 177 page guide and recipe book, he opens with how he was very active throughout school, thin and fit, and it was in the corporate world he started to gain weight.  Everything creeps up fast, and he developed many illnesses along with his weight.  Then in chapter 3 he explains more of the benefits of Juicing like improved hair, increased energy, increased joint flexibility, improved vision, feeling calmer, and many more.  These are all things we wish to have and spend a lot of money to obtain artificially.  What I love most is that you are allowing the body to heal and super saturating with micronutrients many people deprive themselves of.  Some people think to fast or juice is to starve yourself, but really more people are starving eating the nonfoods, junk, restaurants, and processed foods so easy consumed.  That is a true tragedy, to think you are eating foods when really dirt might have more nutrients than a lot of foods found on shelves today.  In chapter six he talks about his great American Road Trip with his struggles and accomplishments.  Chapter seven he is in Winslow, AZ day 50 and dropped an amazing 70 lbs., greatly reduced his prednisone intake.  At the end of the book he gives steps on preparing for a reboot, talks about organic produce, his recommended juices throughout the day, and a couple of his favorite recipes for after a reboot.  If you have a chance to purchase and read this book, I find it a great asset to the movie.

Juicing is so much easy than you think, and I personally think every person needs to watch this DVD.  I think it will, and has, changed lives across the world.  I encourage you to watch this video.  I was posting when the movie was offered for free, if you missed it, you can purchase a DVD in link below.  I also included a link to watch on Netflix if you happen to have an account.  That was how I came across the movie last year!  Also, I am having a giveaway of the DVD!!  I am excited that Joe gave me a DVD to give out to one of my readers and think that they will forever be changed after watching it.

Hacking Kickstarter Indiegogo: How to Raise Big Bucks in 30 Days ebook Review

(I was given this ebook in return for an honest review, the comments and write up are my own opinion and thoughts.)

What is Kickstarter?
Say you have an awesome idea for a product or business, and you need some funds to get it started, you can ask friends, family, and fans to help you get that vision started. I have seen a couple Kickstarter projects and the success of a project depends on your setup and support. Usually with Kickstarter you lay everything out explaining what your vision is, give people amounts to help you, and they receive some cool personal items for helping you.  This is a great way to make funds to help you make your idea come to life.  If you don't make your Kickstarter goal than you make none of the money you collected.  The donations that are received get sent back to the contributors if the project does not make the goal amounts. Now that you know a little more about what Kickstarter is, I want to share with you the ebook "Hacking Kickstarter, Indeigogo", by Patrice Williams Marks.

Hacking KickStarter, Indeigogo
Hacking Kickstarter, Indeigogo: How to Raise Big Bucks in 30 Days (Secrets to Running a Successful Crowd Funding Campaign on a Budget), is not a book on how to start a Kickstarter, you have all that support, FAQ's, and videos on the Kickstarter website.  This is a book on organizing and planning a “successful” Kickstarter.  I noticed that a lot of Kickstarter's do not make their goals, and the reason was they did not organize their campaign correctly.  What this book does is give you examples and references to help you make sure you are successful and hopefully even go over your goal.

This was a quick and easy to read guide to help you start off on a good foot.  The author first talks about building your fan base and excitement before you start the 30 day Kickstarter with examples and links for websites, newsletters, social site advice, and more.  While the author gives examples, links, and suggestions, one thing I really liked was that she gave ideas to do things for FREE and the same things with a cost.  Some people may have money to put into this, but I think every Kickstarter is looking to do as much as they can while saving as much as they can.  The author also gives you tips on whom to help you spread the word, media websites, bloggers, where to link up with others to give support, and pitches.  I found she really laid everything out in an easy to organize fashion.  With a little organization, media setups, and follow through, you can have a successful Kickstarter.

I was involved in a Kickstarter just last month and I am thrilled to say that they not only met their goal early but went over the goal amount.  You can read that kickstarter here, and see their Kickstarter Video in the upper left corner. One of the things Patrice Williams Mark says is to make a great video and humor is always a plus.  I personally loved the video they made and you got to really see the guys personality and passion for what they were doing.  They did almost everything recommended in the book and I am glad that they made their goals!

If you are looking to do a Kickstarter Campaign I highly recommend getting this ebook to help you organize, get started, and finish strong within the 30 days.   Not only does it help you succeeded but build a fan base of real fans, which is who you want supporting you on this journey.
You can purchase at Amazon, Barnes&Noble, and Smashswords.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Aurorae Yoga Pledge Candle Review

I have mentioned before how much I love Yoga.  I think it is the perfect whole body workout while helping to reduce stress.  For me, Yoga is an intense workout but still helps in focusing and relaxing the mind, body, and spirit.  I have learned that when I balance my life with healthy eating, physical activity, and calming the mind I can receive better health for my whole body.  I love to use tools that help me relax, take times out of my busy day, and meditate on the positives.

One of the tools I used over the last couple weeks in my new Pledge Lavender Soy Candle Harmony from Aurorae.  This beautiful candle gives off a delightful soft clean scent to use during my Yoga workouts.  I have often thought about using candles while practicing my Yoga but never tried it until now.  Lavender is a very relaxing scent that calms my nerves and lifts up my thoughts.  While doing yoga you do a lot of deep regulated breathing and I have never wanted to clog my yoga area with strong fragrances.  The Pledge candle has a clean, non-toxic, breathing scent that was relaxing and was a great addition to my workouts.  A couple times I found myself pulling the candle out and just sitting back and enjoying my quite time.  One thing I love is that the relaxing scent fills the room and the whole family can enjoy it when I am done.
A couple Features of Pledge Candle
* Made with Soy Wax
* Comes in a beautiful Tin container that is recyclable.
* Makes no black smoke, with a soft clean non -toxic scent.
* 30-35 hours worth of burning time per a candle.

At first when people think about Yoga, and have not tried it yet, think its all about stretching
Whether you are doing a hard Yoga workout, stretching, meditations, prayers, or working on starting your day out slowly you will enjoy this Aromatherapy Candle.
The Yoga Mat and Micro Fiber Yoga Towel also happen to be Aurorae, as you can see I really like their products, Eco friendly and great for Yoga.

You can order your candle at Amamzon for $24.95.  Right now the candle is discounted to $14.95!!
As you can see above we will be having a Giveaway starting 6/7, be sure to enter!

The Spatty and Spatty Daddy Review

This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.

We have all been there when something we need is at the very bottom of a container with no way to scrap it out.  Say it’s the very last ounce of mayo that you need for that sandwich and no butter knife or spoon can get it out.  Well, there is something and it works pretty good.  The Spatty, is a super cool invention that does just that.  It has a rubber end that scraps out every last bit of shampoo, foundation, mayo, or even peanut better.

The very first day it arrived my daughter informed me that we were out of shampoo, well now that was an opportunity and a challenge!  I grabbed the larger Spatty, since this was a Costco size shampoo, and started scraping the sides and bottom.  I was able to collect a ¼ cup of shampoo, and that is a lot of shampoo!  This is money I would have just been throwing away and The Spatty was easy to use and made getting to what I needed easier, no more money wasted.

Since then I have been using my small and larger Spatty for makeup, condiments, pretty much anything that holds the last few ounces of products that I can’t reach.  The other day I was able to scrap my peanut butter jar clean getting the last possible spread for sandwiches.  I mean it’s a waste to thrown anything that can be used away, right?  Plus, I recycle my glass jars and The Spatty cleaned everything up so that I just have to wipe it down.  Have you ever tried to wash your peanut butter jar?  It’s not easy and the cleanup was much easier this time sine there was less peanut butter in the jar.

The Spatty was designed by a mom who was sick of wasting money on her makeup, throwing lots away because she could not get to the bottom of the container.  Think about how expensive makeup can be and the last few ounces just get thrown away?  Well, she went to her kitchen and invented The Spatty from for baking scraper to make a smaller one to fit into her smaller makeup containers, and The Spatty was born.

Check out her video here.

This is a great tool to help you save money and waste less.
Guess what?  We are giving some away!

ECO Friendly Glass Storage Solutions for the Home and Travel

I am passionate when it comes to food and the environment.  To have a healthy body you need a healthy planet, one with clean food, clean water, and a clean ECO system.  Everything has a balance!  We need water and food, both plants and animals, for us to survive, but who wants to solely survive?  I want to thrive and that means eating toxic free foods and protecting the environment in every way I can.

All this month I have been posting on ways you can green up your life.  Simple steps everyday can help protect the planet we love and increase our own health in the process.

One way I live toxic free is through your type of storage.  A lot of commercial products use plastic for everything and convenience is the main selling point.  How often have you seen the plastic travel shampoos, conditioners, and such?  While they are handy and compliant with travel sizes they make a lot of waste.  So what can you do?  Have your own travel reusable containers like eBottles.  They have a great collection to use for all liquids and solids.  This allows you to travel with products you love, and cuts down on the waste from your travel.  I recommend the glass variety but they have many to choose from, and the goal is to reduce and reuse.

Here is one of my spa recipes I have shared this month.  A Spa Recipe that you can store at home and easy for you to carry with you, where ever you go.

Easy Natural Body Scrub Recipe                                                   1/2 cup sea salt
1/4 cup of warmed Coconut Oil or Olive Oil.
Good for all skin types!  You can use this amount easily for your entire body.  I have made larger batches and kept in glass jars and when needed just scoop out the amount needed and heat then.  This also makes for a great gift for Mother's Day coming up!
eBottles carrys many everyday Glass Storage items that will help in reducing and reusing.
Kitchen
Bathroom

Beauty
Pantry
Spices
and More

Whether you make your own products, buy in bulk, or like to have items on the go, ebottles has the size and shapes you are looking for.

What are some ways you have used Travel Reusable Containers?

Looking for a Gorgeous ECO Shirt This Summer?

I have another great ECO friendly company for you.  Enjoy Karma is a Eco Boutique that you can shop by your Cause.  Whether you want to buy Organic, ECO, USA Made, one of a kind, and more you can find great prices and companies you can be proud to support.

Enjoy Karma sent me one of their new lines of summer clothing.  This is the Luna Claire Peggy Fair Trade Tank.  I absolutely love the light weight material making it easy and comfortable to wear, even in hot and humid temperatures.
"Are you looking for a fun and comfortable tank top for the nice weather? The peggy tank has the perfect mix between casual comfort and style. You could wear it for so many occasions. The back straps have a cross detail and along the bottom there is ties that bring another unique piece to this tank. This tank is made in Tailand under fair trade practices and environment."~~Enjoy Karma

I have really enjoyed wearing my new tank so much!  The black strip at the bottom can be worn longer pulled over your hips, or higher for your style comfort.  I have worn this tank with jeans and dressed it up to volunteer at the school with black pants and a light cotton jacket.  This weekend I plane on wearing it with a pair of jean shorts for a very relaxed and comfortable look.  We are going to be at the Gym for a few hours while my daughter practices for her upcoming Gymnastic meet.  The tank has a soft silky feel, not stiff, making it comfortable for everyday use and dressing it up for special occasions.  Even though the tank is gorgeous, I love that the shirt was made under fair trade practices and with concern for the environment.

Everything we do in processing and manufacturing our clothing affects the environment and our bodies.  Companies making fashionable clothing with the lease amount of impact on the environment are what I am supporting.

Why do I support ECO clothing?
It is important to be thoughtful of the products you purchase and put on your body.  So often clothing has been treated and processed with toxic chemicals in the growing, processing, and/or manufacturing of that product.  These toxins then get on our skins and cause allergies, reactions, and travel through the skin into our body.  Not to mention the run off of these chemicals getting in the land and water as they are manufactured, harming the environment.  Those chemicals then get in our drinking water and food.  What can we do?  Look for ECO companies that care about their impact.

How to know if a company ECO friendly?
You will know by their efforts to protect the Earth and its Resources.  I look to see if they mention how they take steps to conserve natural resources like water and energy.  Then I see how they take steps in preventing pollutants in the water, land, and air when they process and manufacture the clothing.  You can usually find this information in their mission statements and about the company.

In celebration of Earth Day I want to share one of my special finds.  Enjoy Karma contacted me to review a couple pieces from their new line, and I gladly said yes.  They have a wonderful store that you can shop by Category, Cause, Brand, and New Arrivals.  I love the ECO line with great prices, sales, and new items added often.  I think it is very import to think about what companies we support when we buy products.  Are their products harmful to the environment, or are they companies that care and help preserve and protect.

Enjoy Karma is a boutique that carries many companies that care about the Earth and make a Neck Turning Fashion.  No matter what you are looking for you can find ECO jewelry, hats, scarf's, pants, jeans, purses, dresses, skirts, tops, wraps, and more.

Here is one of the pieces Enjoy Karma sent me to review.  The skirt is of the ECO Line and through Zand Amsterdam.
"The Anna Zand Skirt is a one size reversible wrap skirt with snaps for closure that can fit a size 0 to 12. The skirts are proudly handmade under fair trade conditions in India by local artisans who get paid 3 times as much as the average tailor gets paid.  These are “hip and unique skirts for hip and unique women” and have become extremely popular across Europe." See Line Here

In this picture you can see the purse that is detachable and can be added to either side of the reversible skirt.  The two pictures on the right show side A and side B of the skirt.  The top print of the skirt is actually detachable too.  It can be zippered off to be a belt as a nice addition to long shirts or dresses.  You can see an example in below collage.  The purse has two deep pockets that zip close and inside the purse is a long corded strap to ware the purse separate from the wrap skirt, if you choose too.  The purse is very light weight and wears on the skirt comfortably.  This skirt is one of the short varieties.  Each skirt is hand made with leftover scraps from previous lines, so nothing gets wasted!  That said, each skirt is a unique piece that will not be exactly like any other.

In this collage I wanted to show how the skirt can be worn over yoga pants or by its self.  With the many colors in the skirts it's easy to find coordinating shorts and pants to add to existing outfits.  As you can see there are limitless possibilities to a fun vibrate skirt as these.

I am no fashion blogger, but I know what I like.  I like clothing that is good for my body, good for the environments, and functional.  Enjoy Karma helps with all my demands and helps me turn heads doing it.  I have had so many friends say what a beautiful and great looking skirt this is, and I get two skirts for the price of one.

Features
Skirts - reversible
Purse - detaches to ware on both sides, and strap to ware separately, can even be attached to your Jeans
Belt - reversible and can be worn with other outfits for a fun new look

Delicious Bai-5 Calorie Antioxidant Infusion Review

We are a very active household. We like to bike, run, hike, swim, go camping, and pretty much any activity where we are outside.  I mention this because I like to look for beverages, along with our Water, that provides a clean way to rehydrate the body during and after activities.
I was excited to learn that I was going to be reviewing a couple of the Bai-5 Calorie Antioxidant Infusion.  While looking into the company I noticed that that the CEO and Founder, Ben Weiss, is very passionate about what he does.  The History of how Bai-5 got started was with a sip.  While on his travels around the world, it was in Indonesia that he came across "Coffeefruit".  Then he started mixing this high antioxidant rich plant with other exotic juices to make the perfect Bai-5 Calorie Antioxidant Infusion drinks.  You can read more on the start here.

BPA Free and Never Hot Filled
At first I was very discouraged that they were only available in plastic bottles.  Then I discovered that the each bottle is BPA Free and Never Hot Filled!  So often, beverages and processing plants use heat to fill their plastic bottles, for packaging, and that heat leaches the toxic plastics into the beverage or food.  Since bai never uses Hot Fill, you have a cleaner beverage.  This was a selling point for me.  I never like to purchase foods or beverages in plastic, but I feel much better about this bottle.  Just remember to please recycle when you are done.
Are they Fair Trade?
While browsing bai's blog I noticed how they are "Direct Trade".  This is very similar to "fair trade', but it goes a step farther.  Because they buy directly from the coffee grows, they establish fair pricing without the middle man, fees, and such taking away from the coffee growers.  This supports fair wages for the coffee growers and better for consumers as well.  Sounds like they a win for both sides.  You can read the information here.

  • Antioxidant Packed, 2000+ mg
  • Only 5 calories per bottle
  • BPA Free
  • Vegan
  • Gluten Free and Soy Free
  • Low Glycemic Index
  • Organic Coffeefruit
  • 100% Natural
No Artificial Colors*No Preservatives*Never Hot Filled
I have told you about the company and the product, but how does it taste?  It tastes amazing!  There are 8 flavors to choose from and all have a delicious, delightful, easy, and refreshing taste.  With my running, I have tried many sports drinks, and I like these BEST.  So often sports drinks are loaded with sugars, preservatives, enhancements, and electrolytes that you don't need unless you are a Pro football player.  These recharge the body naturally without all the extra junk, making it better for you and your little ones.  My 9 year old daughter is a Gymnast, training 3 hours every night, and I felt much better giving her one of the Bai-5 drinks over another commercial sports drink.

I think the Sumatra Dragonfruit is my favorite, but I enjoyed each of the unique taste of them all.  If I had to say which was my least favorite it would be the lemon.  Don't misunderstand, I still enjoyed it and will be getting it again, just to let you know the lemon has a nice "tart" taste.  The 8 flavors to choose from include Sumatra Dragonfruit, Panama Peach, Malawi Mango, Limu Lemon, Costa Rica Clementine, Ipanema Pomegranate, Brasilia Blueberry, and Congo Pear.

Plus, they have a new flavor on the way, Molokai Coconut!  It will be released June 1st and will deliver a rich coconut flavor unlike any you have tried before.  I love Coconut, so I am super excited about this!  Coconut is great to recharge after a hard workout or run, but I have not been impressed with the taste of most.  After reviewing the 8 above, I am positive its going to be a great addition.

To Go Ware Reduce Your Fork-Print Review

To-Go Ware RePEaT Bamboo Utensil Set with Recycled PET Carrycase. #ad

Reuseit does it Again!  I just love this company, no matter what I am looking for they usually have it.  This school year we took the pledge to only use reusable lunch packing materials, in other words we no longer used plastic baggies or anything needing to be "thrown away".

In celebration of Earth Day, Reuseit.com sent me one of their To-Go Ware bamboo sets.  For one I love the color of the recycled green carrying case, just beautiful!  The case and utensils are light and do not take up much room at all.  I can throw my case in my purse, hiking backpack, or lunch bags, really the options are limitless.  I was especially excited to try it out for our Friday Soup and Stations at church.  During Lent we attend a social gathering to eat soup and then walk through the Stations of the Cross remembering the day of Jesus' death and resurrection.  With our group we all reduce the amount of waste and work by bringing our own bowls, utensil's, and cups, while the soup, bread, and beverage is provided.  I loved using my To-GO Ware and loved how easy it was to clean.  I just hand washed my case and utensil and laid them out to dry.  The website said that I could use them in the dishwasher, but I want them to last for a long time, and washing only take a minute.

I plan on taking my hand ECO Friendly Bamboo utensils with me everywhere from hiking, camping, volunteering, and eating out!
No more plastics, No more waste.

LVR Eco Company Making Yoga A Hot Fashion

I am a crunchy momma!  I love my whole foods, natural lifestyle, green living, and living stress free with yoga.  My husband jokes that I am always in my yoga gear and I tell him that it's the best clothing ever made!  I was excited to hear that LVR was going to be sending me a pair of Organic Yoga Pants to review and sponsor for our Green Earth Event.

They sent me pair Organic Fold Over Yoga Pants- French Terry.  I fell in love with them right away.  The extra fabric that folds down over my hips is comfortable and stylish, the pants fit my legs perfectly, and then flare at the ankle.  I am a little short so I just trimmed the bottoms to fit my height.  You never notice that I shorten the pants at all.  They are absolutely comfortable and I have been practically living in them.

While the yoga pants are stylish, comfortable, and practical, I have more to tell you about them and the company!

Designed and handmade in Los Angeles, so they are made in the USA, they are produced with the highest quality with minimal impact on the environment.  No matter your style you can find bright, relaxed, vintage, and more of the styles you are looking for.  They make tops, wraps, pants, and dresses for casual and active lifestyles.  Did I mention the clothing is organic?  Why is Organic Important!

This ECO friendly company also likes to give back through conservation.  In 2011 LVR partnered with ARCAS, which is an animal rescue center in Guatemala.  Every month the company donates a portion of their revenue to the rescue center for rehabilitation and release of the wild animals.  So each purchase will be helping this cause!  You can check out their Donation Timeline here.  I love when a company cares about conservation and protecting the environment.  You can read more about their earth friendly mission on eco clothing here.

Personally, I feel really good about wearing clothing that means so much more than comfort and style.  When I wear these pants I know they are helping the environment, better for my skin, and helping to reach out and help with causes I support.  While ARCAS helps with many animals, I want to help them with the sea turtle hatchery below.  Please take the time to watch the short video below, and be happy that this company is helping in this cause through your purchases, WIN WIN!

Where can you find LVR?  Of course on their website, Facebook, and twitter, but also in high -end boutiques and yoga studios across the US, Canada, Japan, UK, and Middle East.
Check out there Events and Calendar.
Where have they been Featured in the Press?
Check out their selection of ECO clothing here.

Flat Rate Domestic Shipping is $4 and it is ECO Packing!

We just got done reading Turtle Tide, which you can see my review on Saturday!  I thought it perfect that I am talking to my kids about Sea Turtle and conservation efforts that we can do and I see this piece on LVR's blog site!  Thank YOU, LVR for your compassion and efforts that are helping.
I personally LOVE that when I buy these awesome organic clothing, I am also helping with these conservation efforts!  You can too!

VaCCeptable Injuries by Markus Heinze Book Review

I know this subject will be controversial at times and I hope you read this review with an open mind.  This book talks about a father's research that started when his daughter received an injury from vaccinations resulting in Type-1 Diabetes.  His research has led to finding many injuries of children from Cancer, Autism, ADD, ADHD, Asthma, and Allergies.

The book is 145 pages long and I was able to read it very quickly, for one I could not put it down.  I had already been following this subject making my own inquiries as to whether Vaccinations were safe or not.  I am hearing more and more stories of these injuries and toxins in the shots before ever picking up Markus book.  For the last 10 years we have not received any Flu shots because I did not believe they really protected me from the Flu.  Every year there are many strains of the Flu roaming the planet, and the shot of the year is just the strain they estimate to be the most problematic.  Even though we always opt-out of the Flu shot, every one of my children has received every vaccination to date.  I never knew there were other options, especially since my children would not be allowed at school if they were not up to date.  I almost feel bullied in having to have these done, knowing that they contain bacteria, heavy metals, and other substances that are unknown to me.  I give them to my children because the government says I have to and that they protect my children from future harm.

Over the last few years I have been seeing many that DO NOT vaccinate their children, and they have never experience anything other than normal colds and regular illness.  Some of these children are well into their teens, and as healthy as mine.  I started wondering about this as I receive pink letters in my children back packs of illnesses found in their classroom, illness like chick pox, strep throat, pinkeye, foot and mouth disease, Flu, and more coming home.  While I am thankful to the school for keeping me aware, I think roughly 98% of all children in the public schools are vaccinated and still getting these illness.  I have also been following the rise in children diagnosed with ADD, ADHD, Autism, and Childhood diabetes, it's alarming and as I read Markus book I am wondering if there really is a link.  No one questions vaccines unless they have a horrific experience and that experience is seldom shared with the masses.

In Markus Book "Vacceptable Injuries" he shared his story of why he started his own research.  He shares what we actually know about vaccines and the Unknown of vaccines.  He shares horrifies research of HOW they tested the "safety" of vaccines.  Let me explain a little here about the safety testing.  He recommends, and questions, "Why" they never tested the vaccines against placebos.  The vaccines are tested against "other" vaccines showing little differences.  Well, that's like testing if a whopper is unhealthy against a Big Mac.  They're both unhealthy right?  He then goes into explaining that they knowing put vaccines to use when some result in deaths.  Some of this has been explained that the numbers are too few and it protects the masses.  He refers to as like playing Russian roulette as to whether your children will be one affected by the toxins and metals.  The book is loaded with quotes, studies, and information that may or may not change your mind, but it at least opens a second side of the story. He shows graphs that since the 1900's we were already on downward slope of less outbreaks of diseases.  Yes there were a few outbreaks here and there, but the question as to whether vaccines actually protect from those diseases is in question.  He discusses the credibility, the effectiveness, and the bandwagon of society.
 My Opinion
I am still on the fence as to whether we will continue to vaccinate or not.  I am not taking Markus word on everything in the book, not because I believe it in error, but as a parent I have to research all the facts.  I have only ever been told that they are safe, seeing with my own eyes children and adults affected has opened my eyes and made me question this system.  Markus' book may not change your opinion on whether to vaccinate, but you owe it to yourself, children, grandchildren, friends, and family to read and ask some questions.  He has given me many links to follow up on and dive into this further.  His book has done its job and helping me ask questions, and to stop blindly believing that someone else knows what's best for me and my family.  I might still vaccinate, but I have some time to do more research and before making that decision.  I am leaning towards no more, but I owe it to myself and my children to look at this further before making any decision.  I hope you pick up this book and ask a few questions as well.

A few quotes from the book
"Numerous medical articles suggest that vaccine adjuvants (adjuvant is an ingredient intended to aid in the effectiveness of the vaccine , substances such as aluminum and mercury)can cause autoimmune disorders........aluminum in vaccines causes cell death."
"The researchers found that for every live vaccine given, there's one high risk event to be expected for every 168 twelve  month old vaccinated, and one high-risk event for every 170 eighteen month old children vaccinated.  Doctors expect to see 20 seizures for every 100,000 children vaccinated.  Slowly it became evident to me that vaccinating our children is like a shot in the dark, like playing the lottery using our child's lives."
"About 30, 000 reports are received by VAERS each year:10-25% involve hospitalization, permanent disability, or are considered life-threatening; about 2% involve death.  At the same time it is estimated that ONLY 1-10% of all doctors report a severe health problem that occurs after a drug or vaccine is given to a patient."
"according to the US Food and Drug Administration, safety assessments for vaccines have often not included appropriate toxicity studies because vaccines have not been viewed as inherently toxic."  In other words: the same government agency that  assures you that vaccines are safe has not studied and researched all the ingredients in those vaccines."
"the pharmaceutical company producing this vaccine and the FDA knew that many children would die from the vaccine. (When 36,165 children received this vaccine, 25 died.  Statistically, this implied that if 361, 165 children received this vaccine, it would kill 250 children.)"
"There are no cases of wild polio (naturally caused polio) left in the United States.  Instead we now see elevated numbers of vaccine-induced polio."
I could go on, but these are ones that spoke to me personally and had highlighted.  Each of these quotes contain links to support in the book.

VidaCup Coffee Review

As you know I love Coffee and Tea.  Not as a energy needed beverage, but for the flavor and warmth.  It is a usually daily start to my mornings, except when I am cleansing.

I was excited to read more and try out VidaCup Coffee.  Their Coffee is said to have healthy benefits infused in to each cup of coffee for better health.  I was sent the Mo-Joe, Ageless Brew, and the Xtreme High Energy.

The VidaCup comes in powdered single packs that you can use with hot water at home or on the go.  This makes having a cup of your favorite coffee easy and convenient.  I will say that on my first taste of the Ageless Brew I was not a huge fan.  It had a artificial sweet taste without any creamer added, but when I made it a second time and allowed to sit for a minute the taste was better, I think it needed to be mixed a bit more.  The Mo-Joe has a more robust taste and thought it was OK.

The one I found to be more pleasurable was the Berry tasting Xtreme High Energy, which is not a coffee to me but a warm berry flavored beverage.  It has a very sweet taste almost like a berry cider.  This beverage has an ORAC value of 5000 making it higher in antioxidants.
"What’s in it? Only the most incredible proprietary blend of fruit and berries that give you an ORAC value of 5,000 per serving. Imagine combining grape, wild blueberry, cranberry, raspberry, prune, strawberry, acai berry, maqui berry, wild bilberry, goji berry, pineapple, apple, orange, grapefruit, plum, raspberry, watermelon, lemon, lime, cantaloupe, cherry, papaya, peach and pear. We could have stopped there, but didn’t.
Like all our products, Xtreme has been infused with our exclusive H1X1 Super Concentrate Agaricus Blazei"~~VidaCup
You might be wondering what the H1X1 is, I know I was interested in finding out more about it.  The H1X1 is a patented hybrid mushroom that is grown in Brazil.  This mushroom was believed to have great health benefits and they infused this mushroom to the coffee bean, increasing its health benefits.  You can read more here

My question, is a hybrid mushroom healthy? The definition of hybrid:" the offspring of two animals or plants of different breeds, varieties, species, or genera, especially as produced through human manipulation for specific genetic characteristics."
Farmers have been cross breading for years to make hearty more resistant crops, and this has a more natural process.  For my coffee choices I am sticking to organic and naturally made beans.  If I need to add flavor I select a coffee according to its roasting.  I think that many people do and will enjoy this coffee, I just found the flavor to be different.  I like my coffee plan, simple, and ORGANIC completely, with many natural and organic coffees available I will probably not be trying these again.

"Our products feature proprietary formulations of high-impact, high-quality, functional, instant coffees, teas and other nutritional products. What makes us unique is that all of our formulations will include an extremely potent extract of a specialized strain of the Agaricus Blazei Murill mushroom- highly touted for it's multitude of health benefits and supported by dozens of clinical studies."~~VidaCup
