Now that Summer is here I want to relax but keep the kids entertained. One day every week we will have a different adventure day. This week we went to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum.
We packed our lunches, snacks, plenty of water, and sunscreen! It was actually a very pleasant and breezy day, but we always protect our skin. The day was filled with laughter, nature trails, seeing lots of Arizona's wildlife, and making memories.
We stopped at the Ancient Arizona section to do a little digging and finding out more about dinosaurs and the items used at dig sites.
We then headed into a Cave to learn about bats, gems, and more.
Throughout the park we observed Arizona wildlife. Here is my friend the Bobcat! Poor guy was being tormented by a pesky squirrel just out of reach.
At the end of the day the kids all finished their Tracking Animals book. They received a certificate and card stating they were animal trackers. They absolutely loved them!
As a wife, mom of four, and Certified Nutrition Counselor, I care about my impact on the food choices we make. Everything we eat has a profound effect on our bodies, the environment, and our future. We eat not just to satisfy hunger, but also to nourish and enrich our lives. Eating and buying clean resources keeps your body and the Earth healthy and thriving. Dedicated to educate on the Mind, Body, Spirit, and Food, looking at the whole body for that #OOLA life.
