Quick Tip for the Grill

Reduce risk of Cancer from the grill and increase powerhouse foods.

Remember to clean the cancer causing carcinogen from the grill.  While the grill is still hot, take a bristle brush and remove all the burned residue.  Removing while hot will be easier than cooled.  You don't want to have the blacked  carcinogen mess still there when you go to grill again.  Some like the chard taste of the grill on food, but studies are showing it increases your risk of cancer.  Enjoy the grill, but keep from over cooking your food. 

Super foods are foods that are high in nutrients that help protect the body from cancer causing compounds. Do they cure cancer, who knows, but many cancer patients that have gone to a organic lifestyle have helped their remissions and over all health.

Super foods in the Cruciferous group include broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, collards, kale, kohlrabi, mustard green, rutabaga, turnips, and watercress.  Try increasing these foods for over health and great tasting meals.
