I love to drink tea and coffee. There is something about a nice warm beverage that is soothing to my mornings and afternoons.
This month I tried a new beverage from Chai-Direct.com. They carry a huge assortment of beverages to meet your needs and likes. I personally love Chai and the Sattwa Chai is awesome. This is a concentrate so you mix with equal parts milk or milk substitute. You can drink it warm or cold and it is a great change from coffee. I can't tell you if I like it better cold or hot, because I enjoyed them equally. We are in the desert and the afternoon cup cold was very pleasant. Having a warmed cup during my morning routine was a great start to my day.
Sattwa Chai is Micro-brewed with 100% real organic tea and spices. No Additives of any kind. This accounts for its vibrant flavors and many health-giving benefits. Our tea is both organic and Fair Trade Certified. Packaged in both Quart and Half Gallon Containers.~~ChaiDirect
I liked my Chai with equal parts Almond milk. I did try with water and regular milk and just preferred the almond milk for myself. I was sent the 32 ounce Chai that is regularly priced at $6.95. They do have larger containers and bulk prices that you can view here.
"The
fair trade movement advocates the payment of a fair price as well as
social and environmental standards in areas related to the production of
a wide variety of goods.
Here is a list of our Fair Trade Certified Chai :: Chai Tea made with
Fair Trade ingredients.
You can click a product image to view more information and all the
available package sizes. Or you can add a product to your basket at this
page."
"Organic certification is a certification process for producers of organic food and other organic agricultural products"
