Power of Ginger

Ginger is such as amazing little root. It will stop nausea, morning sickness, and motion sickness. Its helps to relieve headaches and aches and pains. Known to alleviate the discomforts of colds and flues, because if its detoxification abilities. It even aids in the digestion of food, easies stomach and colon cramps, as well as constipation.
It contains Vitamin A, B-complex, and C. The minerals contained are Calcium, Iron, Phosphorous, Sodium, Potassium, and Magnesium.
When you take Ginger along with other herbs, it acts as a transporter to the organs that are to be healed.
Ginger is used in making hard candies to sooth throats and even to make your own cough and cold tinctures.
Another great way Ginger is used is to increase the metabolism. Just one glass of ginger tea will
get the body running faster to digest and metabolise the food eaten through out the day.
You will see a favorite of mine that we buy for the house is Gin Gins. Its a hard candy made out of ginger that is refreshing to take after meals, in a cup of tea, or for a sore throat.

Ginger Tea
1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
4 cups water
1 tbsp raw honey
Place ginger in a teacloth or tea bag, put water on to boil, once boiling, remove and pour water over grated ginger. Allow to seep for 5 minutes and remove tea bag, add honey and serve.
