Making breakfast with the kids. Some mornings, like today, it is so hard to get out of bed when the sun is not even up. We all over slept and we need to make some fast healthy breakfast before school.
I love oatmeal because you can have a nice warm bowl within 5 minutes. Todays breakfast was a simple organic cinnamon and vanilla oatmeal and a Cherry Smoothie.
Organic Cherry Smoothie
2 cups of whole frozen organic cherries.
1 cup of Organic Vanilla Yogurt
1/2 cup of Organic Juice
Mix together and made 5 servings.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Don't let running late run you empty. Think of healthful delicious quick meals you can make and have them ready for days like today.

ReplyDeleteI love making smoothies. You can use any kind of fruit, too. We buy fruit and if we don't think we will use it before it goes bad, it gets cut up and frozen. We have lots in our fridge right now. Maybe I should make a smoothie this afternoon.
