Science Fair Award

I love to watch my children question and experiment with science.  This year my son picked his topic for the Science Fair.  He wanted to know more about Hot Air Balloons.  This experience took us weeks of research and building, designing, the right balloon.  My husband and son tried simple plastic bags, trash bags, different fuel sources, and finally they found the right combination of their own.  They decided to find out what temperatures where needed for the Hot Air Balloon to fill and lift.  The experiments where a lot of fun and he learned a lot about hot and cold air.

I am so proud of the work and effort he put into this project.  He was rewarded with a 100% grade, 3rd place in the 5th grade and chosen to go to SARS.  Only 10 projects were chosen to go to SARS this year!  He was so excited to have been given a 3rd place award and just blown away by getting to go further in Judging.  Congratulations My Son!

I am very proud of him for doing such a great job.
