While I sent the kids to get their socks and shoes on I sat down and ate my simple breakfast. It is loaded in fiber, natural sugars, and vitamins. I was full, satisfied. and ready for a run when I get home. So often I am tempted to quickly eat my food, standing at that, and rushing along. It really takes a mental note to say "Kelley, sit down and chew your food". Let's face it moms are always on the go, so make the most out of your food choices. Fill your tank right so you have the energy and patience for all your super mom demands of you.
I have to say that I love the Newman's Own Organic prunes. These are delicious, sweet, a great snack, and don't forget to add them to your meal. Today I used them in my breakfast, because I wanted a little of my Scotland experience. While in Scotland every morning I had dried plumes and grapefruit along with my breakfast.
