This week Contributor Post on Happy Mothering is all about what foods could be causing you pain and inflammation. Instead of reaching for pharmaceutical pills, reduce the problem foods while you increase nutritional foods. See what foods cause inflammation, which foods lead to leaky gut syndrome, and what foods help you.
Two recipes this week
Gluten-Free Granola
Sage egg-white frittata
those sound delicious! We are gluten free due to 3 members having Celiac so I always appreciate new recipes :)
ReplyDeleteThey are a couple of my favorites, let me know what you think. :-)
DeleteThat is so true....eat right and feel better!!!
ReplyDeleteExactly Kim. It is amazing how many people walk around with constant pain, and they just need to know who to change around their food for a better life. Your food can give you life or end it too early.
DeleteI know that's a fact...because it happened to me about 2 years ago. Eat better....feel better!!!
DeleteI'm so tempted to dive into the gluten free cooking but am , I guess, nervous...apprehensive.
ReplyDeleteBeing careful with food truly does make sense!
Marina, I can understand the hesitance of going gluten free. I like to use gluten free foods along with a healthy diet. We still eat gluten but we like to change things up and rotate our foods. I think trying a few gluten free recipes is great. It does not mean you have to take all gluten out of your diet. "Everything in Moderation".
DeleteI wish my husband would try this! Eating better to manage his pain.
ReplyDeleteI have tried a few gluten free products...I am trying to get my hubby to eat gluten free foods.
ReplyDeleteI have chronic pain and i have to watch my diet pretty close, there are definitely foods that make it worse and better..thanks for this article!

ReplyDeleteI have Crohn's, and you learn REALLY quickly what you can and can't eat. People keep telling me to cut back on Gluten, so I may have to give these recipes a try.
ReplyDeleteI know that what we eat can affect our bodies. I have known for years that preservatives and dyes affect us. I am always trying to learn more.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I usually know that it's food that causes me to be miserable, but it's nice to know that there are alternative recipes that I could use that are just as delicious and a lot healthier for me and my family.
