Yogurt Parfait by Making Babies Book

I am currently Reviewing the "Making Babies Book and DVD" series.  I love it because the author, Shoshanna Easling,  is a passionate and exciting mom who loves to feed her body delicious healthful food.  I will be posting my Review soon but had to share with you one of her Fertility Foods.

This delicious and simple Parfait can help you get pregnant because it is loaded with antioxidant berries.
In the DVD she explains that by using good "live" food you are nourishing your body and your growing baby.  I love that she explains if you are planing on getting pregnant today or years later, you should be nourishing your body for the future.  Healthy body helps to carry a healthy baby.  We need to learn to eat healthful foods to give our bodies everything it needs.

I am no longer expecting any little "Gifts".  I have my four beautiful babies, and I am still wanting to eat as if I might carry another.  Your body is a vessel to house and nourish your child.  It makes sense that if I want to eat healthy you should eat as if you will need to have all the nutrients to conceive and carry a healthy baby.   That said, this recipe is for everyone, even your hubby!

I love simple but pretty foods!  I used my husband Martini glass, especially since I can not remember the last time it has been used.

Yogurt Parfait by Making Babies Book
1/8 cup of blueberries
1/8 cup of cut strawberries
1/4 cup of vanilla yogurt
sprinkle of homemade granola

Add your fruit in first, scoop on your yogurt, and sprinkle with granola.  Add a few pieces of fruit on top and dig in.

This was not the complete recipe.  She includes an 1/8 cup each of kiwi, bananas, and raspberries.  Shoshanna explains how to make a Super Antioxidant Berry Syrup that she drizzles over the parfait.  Looks delicious and I will be making very soon!  Be sure to come back for my review of the entire DVD and Book.  I can tell you that it should be in every home already!

Disclosure:  I am not paid for my reviews.  These are my thoughts and opinions that I share to help others know about companies and products I am Passionate about.

  4. I am not a big yogurt person but that looks really good! I normally only eat the fruited kind so this may be just the thing I need!

  5. This looks so good. I'm well past my baby making years, and had a hysterectomy 6 yrs ago, but I could see how eating these would benefit me regardless! I'm looking to make lifestyle changes and am happy to see recipes such as this one that may help me in my changes. Thanks!
