Our Lymph system works really hard to grab and filter out toxins in the body. One of the areas we have a cluster of lymph nodes is in the underarm. Most deodorants have aluminum which can be toxic. When my Grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's I found out that aluminum contributes to the onset of Alzheimer's. Your body absorbs this aluminum through cooking products and skincare products that contain aluminum. When it is absorbed into the skin it then gets trapped because normal deodorants have antiperspirants that keep you from sweating which is the body's natural way to detox. This process taps toxins in the skin and clog the Lymph Nodes. Some scientist are saying that parabens mimic the action of estrogen and are linked to Breast Cancer. This had me searching for non-toxic brands to try. While I have not tried a lot, I will admit, most could not hold up to the smell test. Since I am always running around I like to feel clean and fresh.
"The deodorant has no aluminum, alcohol, fragrance, dye, or parabens and is 100% vegan."~~30SomeWeeks.comAs a Pitch List member I was asked to review 30 Some Weeks and their deodorants. I was skeptical but willing to try since they had no toxins. I was sent both the roll-on and the cream. The next day I had a run early in the morning and thought I would try out the roll on. When I got back from my 3 mile run I was sure that I would be a hot mess. I was surprised that it stood up to the test. I used the roll for the next 3 days and was very pleased with my results. I then tried the cream for the next week, and was very happy to have a deodorant that kept me dry and without any odors. I have used this deodorant the entire month of October and was so pleased that I have finally found a deodorant that is NON-TOXIC and WORKS!
If I had to pick just one I enjoyed the feel of the cream the most, but I like the convenience of the roll-on. It really just depends on your personal preference, they both work great.
I found this to be very cost effective for a product that works and is more safe for your body.

I always worry about these nontoxic deodorants being strong enough to fight the boy odor. Glad to see this one works! Will have to try it out!
ReplyDeleteI am excited to know that it actually works. My sister says that especially pregnant women should avoid regular deodorants because of the aluminum so this one is a great solution! Thank you for the good news. I am going to try the cream!
ReplyDeleteI've tried a do stick one time years ago that didn't work well. but I would love to try them again! I'm guessing they have really improved. i would love to have a better option than what we currently use.
ReplyDeleteI would not mind trying this, but more importantly sharing this with a guy I used to work with. He does not wear any because of the harm it does, he walked daily on breaks and lunch and I can only say that was not pleasant. I can not thank you enough for this info.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to hear that there is a non-toxic deodorant out there that works well. However, it's really unfortunate that I wasn't aware of these products when I was pregnant & attempting to breast feed my daughter. TY for sharing!

I have never seen natural cream deodorant. I have tried many natural ones and they never work. Because breast cancer runs in my family and I have read up on trying to use ones with no aluminum in them I would still like to find one that works.
ReplyDeleteI have always wondered if the non-toxic stuff can really hold up!
ReplyDeleteI've heard of this before!! Sounds good!
ReplyDeleteI use a kind of deodorant stone, that I LOVE.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great product! Would love to try it out! Thanks for the awesome review!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this particular deodorant before. I've been looking for a non-toxic deodorant that works, however this site not listing the ingredients makes me cautious.
ReplyDeleteI think I would like to try the cream. That sounds interesting!
